The Torturer's Secret
Long ago, the region was ruled by a forgotten monarch. Their vast treasure was seized by bandits who hid it somewhere in the hills to the south. The Royal Torturer, a cruel and fiendish man, was given a captured bandit and instructed to locate the missing treasure. He set to work.
It is said that his efforts were successful but no one knows for sure because, before the treasure could be recovered, an uprising of the people led to the monarch’s demise and the end of their rule over these lands.
The Torturer was slain as well, but some believe the location to the stolen treasure may be found in his keep. Brave souls may venture inside looking for the Torturer’s map, but caution is advised for legend says the man’s evil was so great that it lingers in the place where he tortured and killed so many…
This adventure requires the Quest & Answers TTRPG rules or the Quest & Answers Quickstart in order to play.
